Choosing positivity is a way of being...a way of life. Choosing to maintain positivity is a daily challenge that requires intention and attention. Choosing positivity requires one pay attention to life-draining factors such as: with whom they associate, areas in which they can change to foster a more positive environment, constant monitoring of self-talk and daily thought patterns, finding humor rather than criticism in unpleasant circumstances, and following a healthy lifestyle because the physical is directly related to the mental and emotional.
When one's state of mind is generally optimistic and positive, they are better able to handle everyday stress in a more constructive way. This leads to the many benefits of choosing positivity which leads to a happier life. Life is a series of choices. Choosing positivity isn't always easy, and can require difficult decisions and sacrifices be made to better foster success in this area. However, the end result is worth the effort and sacrifice.
